Operated under the Interbank Card Center (BKM), the BKM Transportation Platform enables quick and contactless payments in urban public transportation using bank, credit, and prepaid cards, digital wallets, and other contactless payment tools instead of traditional transit cards.
The BKM Transportation Platform aims to implement a nationwide payment routing service that enables end users to make quick, secure, and seamless payments in urban public transportation using contactless methods. The system allows users to directly use their existing bank, credit, or prepaid cards, mobile wallets, or digital payment tools for transit. It also facilitates the integration of open-loop card payment networks into urban life and enables financial institutions to bring value-added services, such as innovative contactless payment solutions, into the transportation ecosystem.
